An exclusive store just for guitars, Rooster Guitars has been a well known name in Bangalore’s musical community for a while now. Apart from brands like Gibson, Ibanez, Fender, and Cort, they also have their own in-house brand {called Rooster Guitars, of course} that designs and manufactures them. While they might not have them in-store, Rooster Guitars will source drum kits, keyboards and grand pianos if you want them to.

Rhythm Musicals has been around for about as long as I can remember. Need an instrument? If Rhythms doesn’t have it, it’s unlikely anyone else will. They stock up on Indian instruments like Mridungams, Tablas, Veenas and Harmoniums as well as western instruments and tons of studio equipment. They’re also the authorised dealers for many brands like Casio, Sennheiser, Sound X and Yamaha, so have no fear about the authenticity of their products.

Ah, Furtados. While they do have all the instruments you need, this is the place you gotta head to if you want some really cool accessories. Get your hands on everything from fancy guitar straps and picks to keyboard stands and pedals. You can also get Trinity Guildhall music books for all instruments.

One of the oldest establishments around town, Aruna Musicals, has been around since 1933. While they were first known for manufacturing and repairing harmoniums, Aruna Musicals has revamped to Aruna Musicals New and they now sell all kinds of Indian and western instruments. They’re also known for being one of the few stores that sell saxophones in Bangalore.

Celestial Music Store can serve as your one-stop shop for all musical needs. Apart from guitars, drumkits and pianos, they have harmonicas, synthesizers, recording equipment, tuners, and {this is the coolest thing} karaoke mics! If you aren’t looking to invest, you can also get their equipment for rent.

But you really have to go here for Benzy, the in-house Shih Tzu that’ll flop over for you to rub her tummy!
