A garden café meets diner, My Cousin’s Place is straight out of a fairytale. The menu changes every day and the food is delish.
Swing By My Cousin's Place For Steaks, Lasagne And Chill Vibes
Who Is It For?
Everybody! A family or a group of friends or office groups as well. The place offers more privacy to groups as they have many sitting areas.
What’s The Ambience Like?
While the garden area exuberates an English charm, the swish decor inside promises an informal bar setting. But both are warm and enchanting. The outdoor seating space has nice hanging tables and the patio looks really chic with an interesting chandelier that would look stunning in the evenings. One room that particularly caught my attention was the one with a wall that looked right out of Pinterest DIY projects.
We tried the chicken steak as well as the chicken sizzler. Both the dishes were up to the mark. The steak was nicely done and the sauce was flavourful. Plus, the Mexican rice that it comes with was yummy. The sizzler was fresh and hot, and the veggies served on the side, had the right crunch. We tried a couple of mocktails that were decent enough. The desserts are really nice. We tried the signature Raindrop Cake and it was quite subtle and delicious.
How Was My Experience?
Since the place has just opened, the staff was a little confused with the menu initially. But later we ordered on their recommendation and the food was delicious. They also took feedback very politely after the meal. We also met the owner, who asked about the food and checked on us twice while we were dining. The hospitality is like ‘a cousin’s place’ indeed.
While the menu changes every day, the lasagna is a staple and comes recommended though we didn’t try it. Oh, and do make a reservation if you go in the evening.
