Moroccan Oil Spas Or French Manicures At Home? MyGlamm Just Upped The Ante

Looking dazzling just got easier thanks to the MyGlamm website and app {finally in Bangalore} which brings home premium facials and hair spas. Plus, the essential waxing, threading and mani-pedis.

Ladies and gents, it’s time to celebrate as you don’t even need to get out of your home for that quick-fix mani-pedi or to get that hair looking like Elvis Presley. MyGlamm, a website and app, by the same folks who brought in the luxurious L’Occitane Spas, Warren Tricomi Salons and the ELLE spas to India, will do the trick. So, as a fan of looking good but not really the salon goer, I was most pleased when I found I could have a Moroccan Oil Hair Spa in the casual comfort of my terrace.

Bang on time, the senior stylist {you can pick between a senior or a junior stylist} arrived with a compact suitcase which in retrospect was like Mary Poppins’ bag — it had a cape to protect my clothes, a plastic sheet to shield the floor, hair drier, straightener, curlers, shampoo, conditioner, oils, clips, pins, dozens of hair brushes. This stuff just got real, folks! We got straight to the application of Moroccan Intense Hydrating Mask and Oil. Then came a 20-minute gentle head massage. I could actually feel my stress and strain melting away. Then, a hot towel to let the scalp and hair soak up the nutrients, before I was told to go and wash my hair again.

Since my hair usually looks like Merida from Brave, it was very easy to spot the difference post the spa — my tresses felt and looked supple, more shiny, smooth and manageable. A quick blow dry and style later, I felt transformed and ready to hit the nightclubs!

If you’re looking for a facial {anti-ageing, basic or even a Forest Essentials one}, threading, waxing, or bleach, they have it all. We’re currently tripping on their mani-pedi services. The aroma mani-pedi, with lemon grass extracts, is our favourite. And since I am addicted, I can’t get enough of the cut-file-polish {French or regular} for just INR 150!. These guys also offer gel manicures.
