Soon going to or coming back from the Kempegowda International Airport {KIA} might be a breeze thanks to the proposed metro line from Nagawara to KIA. According to a The Economic Times report, six stations are what’s proposed between Nagawara and the KIA and the total distance between the two stations will be about 30 kilometres. Now, given that the trains can run at speeds of 80 kmph, it would roughly take under 30-odd minutes to reach the said stations. We don’t know about you, but thirty minutes to reach the airport sounds like a dream. You just have to worry about getting to Nagawara or boarding a metro closest to your place.
The airport metro project comes under the Namma Metro Phase 11 {B} with a 2020 deadline and subjected to the completion of the Gottigere-Nagawara line.
