Chakri Samosas, Dal Pakwan, Gur Chai, Rasmalai Shake And More At This New Cafe In Indiranagar

With its quirky setting and extensive menu, Tata Cha at Indiranagar’s 12th Main is giving us all the Cha goals we earlier dreamed of. The menu is unique and the lights are perfect for some legendary Instagramming.

The truest of tests for any new tea place is, how good their regular cup of chai is. Tata Cha offers you options to customise your regular cuppa. Here you can have kadak, extra milk, or masala. If you are in the mood to try something new, pick their Gulkand Tea, it’s refreshing or the Gur Chai which is perfect for cold weather. And if regular tea is not your cup of tea, they have green teas, coffee, slushy, iced teas, and milkshakes too!

Is tea time really tea time without something to nibble on? Luckily they have the perfect food pairings here. We ordered Ragi Khari, Chakri Samosa, Patti Samosa, and Bun Maskafied {because we had too!}. Ah! Nothing better than crunchy munchies to go with hot teas. More since these snacks were delicious and fresh. For something sweet, we opted for Elaichi Cake and Cream Roll, for nostalgia’s sake.

Yes, we know! You don’t really go to a tea place and expect heavy meals! But you do go to Tata Cha and expect delicious and healthy fillers. Though we were completely stuffed with all the things we had earlier, we just could not resist the Dal Pakwan they had on offer. Cute little pakwans that you can dunk into piping hot dal — we were in love. And we have to be honest with you, we tried the Butter Chicken Khichdi out of curiosity, but with a bit of hesitation. But we were not disappointed! Wholesome comfort food at its best, try this if you love experimenting with your food and want to try something different. With the weather getting cooler, this is exactly what our heart needs.

If you are missing the tapri vibe and want to spend hours in an awesome place with some crazy tea options, Tata Cha is the place to go. This place has outdoor seating and wifi, which means lifetimes would pass by but you would not want to leave. Make this place your hangout with friends or a casual date affair.
