Koramangala's go-to Pan-Asian joint is celebrating five years with a new menu that includes open baos, Bento box meals, Poke Bowls and a seafood menu. Time to dig in!

What Makes It Awesome

Five years, yup, that's how long Tim Tai is around and it only seems like yesterday that we were digging into their Banana Leaf Wrapped Chicken. The new menu retains some of the classics like the aforementioned chicken and lotus stem wafers, so regular patrons you won't be left craving for your go-to orders. Start off with a basket of assorted dim sums, that works for big groups especially. From the new menu, pick Chicken Teriyaki and Satay Chicken (both of which we tried during a sneak peek of the menu). The Grilled Lamb Chops in Malaysian spices is not to be missed. Trust us when we say, you will order more than one portion of the juicy chops.

If you are looking for something substantial, there's an entire range of open baos to try out. Our eye is on the lamb bao with chilli sambal sauce! There's also the tempura section which is new. Think soft shell crabs and prawns. Dining solo and work in and around Koramangala? The new menu has got Poke Bowls and Bento box meals that have been crafted for solo diners and work execs. You can even order the Roasted Duck Larb Salad if you want something light for lunch. It's a cold salad with the spice spot on. For mains, stick to the noodles and curries, and you are good to go.

Pro-Tip

Srijana, the lead staff, is your go-to person should you have any trouble with the menu or just want a friendly presence while you are dining. Her policy of 'smile and be always around' works like a charm!
