Koramangala is that gift that keeps giving. It was only a few months ago we had told you about some new cafes, restaurants and bars opening here. Well, fast forward to the present, and we give you another five places to check out. And these are just five; we really found around 13. So of course, we have picked the best and curated the list for you. These restaurants and cafes are already operational, so plan a trip here when you in the most happening hood in Bangalore.

Lord Of Friez

There's nothing like too much fries and that's what Lord Of Friez does with their OTT fries. If you are already a fan of loaded fries, then you are going to love what these guys are dishing out. We have our eyes of interesting options such as Sriracha Coconut Fries, Thai Crunchy Fries, and Kerala Fries. If you are feeling adventurous, there's Chocolate Fries.

The Kerala Food Company

When you need parotta and beef fry, this is where you need to head to. The Kerala restaurant dishes out a full-blown meaty menu with winners such as Naadan Chicken Curry (country-style), Beef Biryani, and Chicken Pepper Roast. They will soon open for breakfast too with appam and puttu (rice cake) on the menu.

Mama Mia!

Same as the one in Indiranagar, Koramangala folks you can treat yourself to low-fat scoops of Italian gelato in a whole range of flavours  — from Bubblegum to Benarasi Paan. They even have black ice cream and our favourites Sicily Lemon sorbet and the Philadelphia Cheesecake flavoured gelato too. If that's too much sugar, there's sandwiches and fries to balance things out.

Under The Coconut Tree

The cafe gets its name thanks to the coconut tree right outside the entrance. A fairly large space, perfect for after work hangs with your work colleagues, the menu is cafe fare with some North Indian influence -- you'll see masala pappad, paneer tikka sandwich, and curries along with pizza, and pasta. A meal for two will cost about INR 500, so hey, it's easy on the pocket too.

The Japanese Terrace At XOOX Brewmill

Sashimi, nigiri, and sushi form the bulk of the menu at this rooftop space inside XOOX Brewmill. Order a round of Yuzu Hamachi Roll, Deconstructed Sushi that has salmon roe and wasabi foam, and pair it with the in-house brew such as the Japanese Dry Blonde Ale, and you've got yourself a nice little meal. If you are coming with your gang, there are sushi platters, with the Gurando Sushi Platter that has 26 pieces of chef's choice of sushi, nigiri, and sashimi.
