The new watering hole in town, with a neat dance floor, great music, delicious food and amazing drink options. Visited Trans Into Placid on a weekday with a bunch of friends, had a gala time, here’s the summation of my experience.
We all settled down with a few drinks and ordered a whole load of starters to begin with. We chatty bunch didn’t realise when the food came and how soon it disappeared into our hungry bellies. Service was great, almost none intrusive and always available.
I relished the Cheese ball that was beautifully presented and had a nice cheese pull, all the way till the last one on the pile. The nachos were delicious, crunchy with loads of toppings to relish. The bruschetta was on point, crispy, punchy with yummy tomatoes, though the accompanying tomato sauce was not needed. The Aloo Najakat was yummy stuffed potato roulades that oozed Indian deliciousness and I enjoyed it a lot. The Hara Masaley Ki Bhuna Paneer was probably one of the least favourites, maybe it needed a little more marination time.
The pizza was nice and crispy, clean flavours, with fresh vegetables.
The vegetarian Biriyani was nice, spicy & flavoursome, the downside a tad bit more salt, else was a delicious dish.
Desserts I tried the Tres Leches, my first time trying out this dish, it was ok, I liked it, but not sure if this is the authentic version.
Saving the best for the last, this place does one thing extremely well it’s their cocktails & mocktails. I loved their version of a LIT, it was a drink made with more clear spirits than its classic cousin is made up of, out of the world, packed quite a punch on all of us. The Gin Basil Smash was another fantastic drink that got us grooving to the Beats, even more. Highly recommended, this is one cocktail that’s gonna be the talk of the town
