With the year end upon us already, Bangalore is gearing up for what will hopefully be a truly happy and safe end to 2018, and a great beginning to 2019. If you're planning to hit up the MG Road and Brigade Road bash, then chances are you'll feel safe this time around as the government as ordered the streets will be watched by four drones that will be showing live feeds to be monitored at stations as well as on massive screens at the MG-Brigade Road junction, 15 tall watch towers looming over the crowds, and 250 lady cops on high-alert. Ladies, there will also be a section of the road barricaded just for you. No boys of any ages will be allowed in there.
Additionally, party curfew for this year is 2AM, though shops selling alcohol will have to shut at usual times. Those planning to hit up parties, make sure you have a designated driver. If you want to keep it quiet and chill with the squad, we have some ideas for you too. Oh, and if you were planning to go to Nandi Hills and Mathikere, cancel those plans as both tourist spots will be shut from 4pm on December 31, 2018 to 8am on January 1, 2019. So, you know what? Plan an impromptu house party. We have all you need right here to throw the perfect party!
