Ten-Second Takeaway
While we're a bit disappointed that Bangalore isn't on the list of places, the line-up for the 2016 Bacardi NH7 Weekender is out for Hyderabad, Shillong and Pune. Plus, Express editions closer home in Mysore and Pondicherry.
Taking Centre Stage
The international headlines include Porcupine Tree's Steven Wilson, DJ Premier, José González, RAC, The Joy Formidable, Vertical Horizon, Dinosaur Pile-Up, and Mr Woodnote and Lil Rhys.
On the domestic front, we can look forward to Nucleya, Shankar Mahadevan, Indian Ocean, Papan, Anoushka Shankar, Farhan Live, Skyharbor, Arjun Vagale, Nicholson, Prateek Kuhad, Gully Gang, and more.
Shillong will host Vertical Horizon {so many nineties memories there}, as well as Soulmate, Undying Inc, Dhruv Visvanath, Tejas, aswekeepsearching, and more. Pune, the city that started it all, will set the stage for The Joy Formidable, José González, Papon, When Chai Met Toast, and more.
Closer To Home
While we are bummed out about Bangalore falling out of favour, the new entrant Hyderabad has quite the impressive line-up. Performances from Madboy/Mink, Parvaaz, Parikrama, Sandunes, Bhayanak Maut and Ankur & The Ghalat Family are some that the city can look forward to. And all is not lost, fellow Bangaloreans! If you can't make it to the main cities, you can head off to Mysore or Pondicherry for the Bacardi NH7 Weekender Express one-day editions.
