What's Happening

If you love Sufi music and Kun Faya Kun from Rockstar is on your playlist, we have some good news for you. Nizami Bandhu (the qawwali group that not only sang Kun Faya Kun, but also Aaj Rang Hai from Bajrangi Bhaijaan) is coming to Bangalore on Friday, 22nd March.

Hailed as the 'Rockstar Qawwals', the Sufi band led by Chand Nizami and his nephews Shadab Faridi Nizami and Sohrab Faridi Nizami, is also known for their illustrious heritage. They belong to a 700-year-old family of qawwals who served the Sufi saint, Nizamuddin Auliya (talk about history!). Don't forget to book your tickets in advance, and spend a lovely evening listening to divine music peppered with shers on life from one bandish to another.

How's The Venue

Mainly a concert hall (it is shaped like a violin even), Chowdaiah regularly showcases the best of theatre talents and big productions from around India.
