Remember the divine phone that pretty much never died, no matter how many hours you played tic-tic-tic-tic Snake, or sent innumerable messages a day because 100-texts-a-day were free? Yup, that tank of a phone, the glorious Nokia 3310, might just be back for round two. While it’s not been confirmed, speculation comes from hints in the form of a live video by Nokia, paying tribute to what is the highest selling phone, of all time! If we’re lucky, a new and updated model of the 3310 will be launched later this month at the Mobile World Congress event in Barcelona.

The Second Coming

I’m not sure about you, but I am feeling like my BFF from 2000 is coming back to me! No amount of smartness of any new-age phone quite compares to the comfort of holding the slightly bulky but oh-so-brilliant 3310, does it? And in an era when you might as well walk around with a battery pack attached to you, the original battery life of about 260 odd hours on this practically extinct model, will make hearts flutter across the globe. That too for INR 4,500 {or so we hear}. Also guys, Snake II!

Watch this space for more but with fingers crossed, folks!
