The Bangalore-based label is back with a new collection of home decor and lighting in brighter hues, hand-done illustrations and prints, and a minimalist aesthetic.

New beginnings

As part of the new collection, designer and founder of Olie, Amrita Nambiar has introduced not one but four new themes: A Cycle in My Window, The Sea And I, Lost in Flowers and Kolam Constellation. These four themes will run through a collection of cushion covers {some come with fillers thankfully}, table linen, stationary, storage boxes and lighting {lamps}. Expect brighter hues such as mustard yellows, deep blues with cleaner, simpler aesthetics, hand-done prints and cotton silk fabrics.

Theme dream

While A Cycle in My Window offers whimsical prints of lotus-bearing elephants, a bicycle laden with a basket of flowers or a quaint door overhung with bougainvillea against an ecru background. The Sea And I collection is a riot of blues set against a white background and showcases the tumultuous nature of waves and represents aquatic life. Lost in Flowers is dedicated to blooms and birds printed against delicate matka fabric. We are eagerly waiting for the Kolam Constellation series, which is yet to hit the website.

Price: INR 150-INR 9,000
