Recently been to XpressBiryani after hearing good reviews from friends who were there earlier. Located near to Ulsoor, This place has a limited menu which is selective & curated to cater the tastebuds for food lovers. The menu is more of north Indian flavours.
Not a big fan of veg dishes, but Hara Bara Kebab was very good here. Goes well with the chutney & I like the crispy capsicum slices & peas served along with it. Mutton Shami Kebab is pretty good too.
Butter Chicken naan pockets are the star dish for the night. Order this and thank me later :) butter chicken served inside is so yumm.. pockets are cooked in tandoor hence the char around the outer side.
Chicken Tikka Biryani was pretty good. Those who love less spicy would enjoy biryanis here. My favourite would be Afghan lamb Biryani. A boneless mutton version of biryani is available here hence I loved it the most. the meat flavour is pretty dominant & makes it the best one around.
Ended my dinner with homemade gulab jamuns which are topped with nuts.
Will recommend this place the most as the team knows what goes exactly in our plate & helps us based on our preferences.
