The Garden City Farmers, Bengaluru is organising a one-day farmer’s market-esque event to encourage Bangaloreans to grow their own food. With the focus on urban rooftop gardening, this event is a one-stop shop for all gardening related tools and techniques. There will also be stalls selling seeds, saplings, medicinal plants, gardening tools and organic products.

Anyone who’s been wanting a terrace garden and didn’t know where to start, can head to Oota From Your Thota this Sunday. With everything from tools and seeds to free workshops, they will have all you need for your home gardening starter pack.
Why Should I Go For It?
The market will have more than 60 stalls promoting everything to do with urban gardening and eco-friendly living. To keep the kids from getting bored, there’s a free organic gardening workshop that’ll teach them to get their hands dirty and make their own produce. There’s also a free composting workshop for adults as well as stalls that champion sustainable solutions, waste management and water harvesting.
