Guys! Bangalore is having its very own open-air film festival this April and we can’t keep calm. Catch classics like Pirates of the Carribean, Pretty Woman and Silence of the Lambs right under the stars at this movie fest, organised by the Sunset Cinema Club. Happening at 153 Biere Street, the three-day festival will be quite the immersive experience as the venue will be decked up in theme with the movie being screened and there will be movie-themed menus too. Plus, cocktails and photo-booths to add to the excitement.

If you’re a film nerd then this is obviously for you. You may have watched these flicks a hundred times before, but probably never like this, in the open-air. Plus, it’s unlike any film festival you’ve previously attended. For those of you who will be watching these for the first time, what better way to do that than in the cool outdoors. It’ll trump the movie theatre experience for sure. A great way to kick it back with some friends, catch up over good movies, some grub and a beer {it is happening at 153 Biere Street after all}.
Why Should I Go For It?
It’s an open-air film festival! Why wouldn’t you want to go for it? Like we said, it’s going to be unlike any movie viewing experience you’ve had. A festival in every sense, this is an all-round celebration of some of our favourite films, with everything from the screening menu to the food being sticking to its themes. We can’t wait to watch Pretty Woman and see what they come up with for its menu {we’re hoping there’s a reference to the snooty sales staff in the film in there}. Screening a different film each day, you can book your ticket for just one show, or do what we did and just book your tickets for all of them. With a limited seating space, the venue can hold only around 250 to 300 people, so make sure you book your spot right away.
