What Makes It Awesome

The ultimate comfort and finger food rolled into one is a well done chicken wing. No, we're aren't winging it when we say this, there's proof! Proof in its texture (crisp to the heavens) and flavour (sauces that make you want to lick your fingers clean). So when we learnt that Bengaluru has its own wingman we were thrilled!

No, Wingman isn't that friend who's just got your back, but better. It is a cloud kitchen operating out of Indiranagar that's got your tastebuds, owyes! All it took us to get drooling was one quick look at their menu on Swiggy. The concept of a one dish restaurant/service is always exciting, plus the flavours choices at this one sealed the deal for us.

The menu features a good mix of chicken wings tossed in globally inspired sauces. They also have cheeky names (much like the name of the venture itself), let's just say you'll find yourself giggling at a chicken wing or two. We tried a couple that pays homage to Indian flavours -- Bullet Raja, crumb fried gunpowder wings, aka party in the mouth (the crust on this one was divine) and In A Pickle, succulent wings with subtle hints of pickling spices, much like the achari chicken. Another favourite was Bite Me, a sticky Szechuan sauce that'll make you go mmh!

Next on our order is Item Number (raw mango and green chilli), Down South (Chettinad inspired), and Bang Bang Boom (wasabi wings). There are 17 flavours in all and each portion has six wings. Prices start at INR 229 upwards.

Pro-Tip

Wingman also has Indian beverages on the menu like Aam Panna and Chilli Guava. In case Swiggy does not deliver to your location, you can have your order Dunzoed.
