One obsession every Indian won't ever get over is homemade food, made by the queen of the house. But what does one do when you don't live at home, or rather how long does one survive without home cooked food? Don't sweat, you won't have to worry about these questions once you order in from Meal Of The Moment (a play on "MOM").
This packaged meal delivery service is making 'maa ke haath ka khana' available across the country at the click of a button. We'll come to the food in a bit, first the process. All recipes are by the Founder's mother and are made with zero human touch at a centralised manufacturing unit in Kota, Rajasthan. On Mom's website you will find a whole video explaining the process. Zero preservatives or msg go into the making of these dishes and they also use very little oil. Cha-ching, mom approved!
These are dehydrated, super easy to make meals. All you have to do is add hot water to the dabba or pouch (two variants), it comes with a watermark on the inside, and wait for a few minutes before you can dive into your ready meal. Mom also knows you like variety, so the menu is vast - breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert included.
We suggest ordering the 15 meals dabba priced at INR 800 -- it has all dishes from Red Thai Curry Rice to Pav Bhaji, Upma, Sambar Rice and Kesari Halwa too. Great bang for your buck and you can take mom anywhere!
