What Makes It Awesome

For those who love their high dose of caffeine, nothing hits home quite like a cup of piping hot filter coffee. Brewed extra strong with oodles of creamy, sweetened milk, and "pulled" to heavenly, frothy perfection, we sure do love enjoying our filter coffee, in a steel tumbler, of course. So, when we stumbled upon Harmakki Coffee Company we felt at home.

This family of coffee planters have been growing and studying coffee for 15 years, and specifically South Indian Filter Coffee that Founder Prajwal calls his life and passion. They use a local variant of Arabica beans called Chandragiri sourced from their plantation in Moodigere. This is then processed, and roasted (medium to dark) and ground to make their prized strong filter coffee powder. We hear they use the authentic Malanad style of roasting to achieve a delicious flavour profile, with notes of cherries.

Although Harmakki Coffee Company has been in business not for long now and has only one variant, their coffee is a hit with the masses. A notable mention is the biodegradable packaging that happens at their green packaging unit in Bengaluru. Please note that they deliver across Bengaluru and the country too, but other city orders may take some time to reach you and courier charges are extra.

Pro-Tip

Harmakki Coffee Company will soon be introducing two variants of South Indian Filter Coffee, a rich and ultra. They are also working on finalizing a new packaging design and will be launching an e-commerce website.
