Everywhere you look, it would seem that finding a baked treat that is vegan or gluten free ain't that hard to find. But most times, the two are mutually exclusive of each other. This was exactly what posed a worry to home baker, Swetha who couldn't find gluten-free vegan cookies for her son. So she did the next best thing, she made them on her own. What became a son favourite, soon turned into a friends and family favourite and is now Miza Dough!
Through her small home business, Swetha had managed to create a buzz among the vegan gluten-free (and non) community in Bengaluru. On Miza Dough's menu you will find scrumptious, ooey gooey cookies (5 different kinds) made with millet flour, premium quality chocolate (no compound business) and vanilla extract. Crowd favourites are the Dark Chocolate Chocolate Chip and Chocolate Chip Walnut Cookies described to the perfect crust and the softest of give when broken into two (Instagram pictures for evidence). Yum! These can also be requested to be made with jaggery.
Miza Dough is also known for its loaves. What we'd describe as pure nut and seed decadence is the Nut and Seed Loaf that is completely grain free and keto friendly in addition to being gluten free and vegan. Highly recommended you enjoy this with your salads or soups or nut butters. These don't have any baking powder or soda either. Our heart is set on the Fudgy Chocolate Loaf though with hazelnuts and dates, this one has a textbook crust and fudgy center.
