Ever wondered about the people behind the voices that guide you through the Namma Metro rides? Let us enlighten you, you fine fellow travellers.

Meet The Voices

Whether you’ve been using the Metro regularly or just for the sake of convenience {nothing like it when you want to beat the traffic, right?}, we bet you would be familiar with the voices announcing, “The next station is…” in perfect Kannada and English diction. And for everyone who has ever pondered about the faces behind the automated messages, meet Aparna Vastarey, a TV anchor, and radio jockey Sudhindra {who is also into filmmaking}.

Having bagged the assignment because of her flawless diction, Aparna has lent her voice for the Kannada announcements while you’ll get to hear Sudhindra’s baritone in the English ones. And now we can’t wait for Morgan Freeman’s voice to come to Google Maps India.
