It's a seasonal sweet and is popularly sold in the months of July and August in most sweat meat shops. So if you are fond of this particular sweet you have to try it from Chainaram at least once in your lifetime. And we promise you it won't be the last.

What Makes It Awesome
What Could Be Better?
Only if there was a way to beat the queues. On an average, there are about 100 people queuing up to pick Ghevar from here.
What's My Pro Tip?
The queues are really long all day long but they have a shorter women's queue so if you are a damsel in distress you can easily join the much shorter queue (look for it) if you're lucky you may be the only woman there so start the lady's queue shamelessly. We found a few sites like foodbaba and foodfeasta that are offering home delivery of the 'Ghevar' in Delhi region. Perhaps try this option rather than sweating it out there.
Reaching here in a car is never easy. It's on one end of Chandni Chowk so take the metro there and take a rickshaw to this sweets shop. It's near Fatehpuri Masjid.
