Ragi to Raga is a brand new retail space in the city that’s all about natural and sustainable living. This cultural spot has got a cafe and an art gallery too.

Rags To Riches

Barely a month old, Ragi To Raga is a new retail space that’s trying to get us to take a few steps towards sustainable living. With a few stores that stock up on some of the all natural and organic brands in the city, expect to find cool merch from handmade handbags made with reed to hand block-printed sarees and stoles. All sourced from local craftsmen and artisans, when you shop here, you’ll help revive the indigenous arts and crafts scene. How’s that for a win-win? Plus, you’ll also be able to get your hands on antiques, collectibles and furniture at this space. And they’ve got organic {or so they claim} food and groceries up for grabs too, courtesy Anemane Organics. Some of the other brands you can find here include Vintage Lifestyle, which is where you’ll find all your antique collectibles {hello gramophones and vinyl record players} and Shankaraa, which is an in-house apparel and accessory brand.

More Than A Store

Ragi to Raga is more than a shopper’s stop. It’s a cultural centre that often conducts workshops on sustainable living and has a cute little cafe on the premises to, for you to chill out at. Serving organic South Indian fare, expect simple local flavours on the menu {yum!} at Bhoomi, which is what the cafe is called. In the mood for a quick culture trip? Head over Ragi to Raga on Kanakpura Road and check it all out.
