#LBBPhotoStory: Lusting After Ravi Prakash's Vintage Automobile Collection

The information in this post might be outdated

One man’s passion for all things vintage – cars, bikes, cycles, carriages – has resulted in this incredible collection. Dr Ravi Prakash began buying and restoring vintage cars in the 1980s. With over 150 cars and a similar number of bikes in his collection, these represent a sizable chunk of automotive history – think one of four surviving Benz Patent-Motorwagon, Jawaharlal Nehru’s 1928 Lanchester St. 8, or the 1961 Jaguar E-Type and you wouldn’t be off the mark. While currently these are held in a private collection, we hear there’s a museum in the offing. Can’t quite wait? No problem, a variety of these cars and bikes can be hired for weddings and photoshoots thanks to Ravi’s daughter, Rupali, and her enterprise Classic Chase. While you figure out how to come up with an excuse to hire one of these out for a day, here’s a series of photographs to leave you ogling and envious.
