More so when she released her emotional and amazing album Red. So while we all listen on loop, here’s our pick of apparel, shoes and make up to channel your inner T-Swizzle and strut like it’s on a red carpet!

One of MAC’s most-loved lipstick shades, MAC Retro Matte Lipstick, is also Taylor Swift’s go-to one. That too the Ruby Woo one. We’ve tried it too, and it really suits all skin tones.
Want to keep it local and support a homegrown brand? Great! Check out Klome Essentials for this Rustic Red Lipstick which isn’t just vegan and paraben free. It’s also quite moisturising as it is loaded with shea butter and almond oil, among others. I really like that this one does not smudge too much, and it lasts at least a few cups of coffee! So, really, slay it all day (or night) long just like Taylor Swift! Oh, if you want get the gift pack (for someone or yourself!) which comes with the lipstick as well as a smooth lip oil for just INR 750. The lipstick alone is INR 600.
Another cruelty-free brand we love and adore, Disguise Cosmetics has a lovely red polish called Cherrylicious. Not extra bright, but enough to grab attention, this one is vegan, chip-resistant (I tried; it lasted a few basketball games too!) and lasts quite long. Though it does wear off with extensive use of hand sanitizer.
Taylor's 'I Bet You Think About Me' video is ICONIC and the most we've seen her in red. This ruffle overlay off-shoulder dress from Peach & June reminds us of the epic cake-smashing scene in which Taylor is seen wearing a beautiful red gown with ruffled rose-shaped shoulders. Granted this pick isn't as elaborate and fancy but it gets the vibe and helps us flaunt a little bit of red at a party or date night. Clean lines, snug fit and a secure shoulder that doesn't slip down means we can wear this gorgeous dress for long hours without being uncomfortable too. It is available in sizes XS to L. This is also a must-have given how much Taylor loves her little red dresses (Google her red carpet looks for proof!).
Dresses we've seen aplenty, but it was a first when we spotted Taylor rock red from head-to-toe in a badass red suit! We've found the perfect replica in this Zara basic blazer and cropped trousers set. It screams red carpet (very Blake Lively meets Taylor Swift too), but aside from being a whole 'lewk' by itself you can also style each of these pieces separately and make a total statement each time. We'd imagine rocking this outfit at work, work parties or even a formal event. This shade of red is also one that will suit all skin-tones, we must add! We've all seen (on more than one occasion) Taylor Swift rock a pair of red shorts. It seems like her go-to for live performances and boy does she wear it well! Her signature pair 'Taylor Swift's Red Shorts' are always high-waisted and just short enough to cover everything that needs to be covered and might we add look very comfortable. Macy's official website that also ships internationally and to India has quite a few options. We like these soft and lightweight soho shorts for its relaxed fit and high-rise, paper-bag waist. Comfortable and stylish max!
To begin with she towers at 5'10", has stunning legs and then wears shoes - heels to stilettoes - to accentuate them! She truly is goal. But our favourite red pair was the thigh high boots she wore to the New York Fashion Week back in 2016. She paired them with shorts and you can too. Get the boots at Flat n Heels, which is available on Ajio. At INR 4,199 they're not exactly the best, but they, it'll do in the Indian tropical weather with those rubber soles for the rain! If you're truly serious about the look, and about the boots too, order these in-house ASOS ones called Kamila. These over-the-knee boots are sassy, sexy and nail the Taylor trend! They will also set you back INR 7,500 approximately, in addition to duty. So about INR 10,000 in all. But hey, you can't put a price of Tay-inspired fashion can you!
Now Taylor Swift is a sneaker lover, and has collaborated with Keds to release a red pair of sneakers way back in 2021 to promote the release of her album Red the first time. While they are sadly unavailable, the look can be achieved with red Vans as well. They're just as comfy, classic, and popping, and maybe new Taylor can collab with Vans to promote Red (Taylor's Version) soon? Plus investing in a set of Vans is never a bad idea for how versatile and long-lasting they can be!
