It’s Time To Say Goodbye To The Iconic Red Fork With One Last Dhansak And Pork Vindaloo

The information in this post might be outdated

Collective hearts are breaking across the city, after the much-loved Parsi-meets-Continental, Red Fork, announced that they’re closing. A Facebook post that spoke of an incredible 11-year-long journey from Daddy’s Deli to Red Fork, alerted us all, and now presumably every Bangalorean is planning their next week’s meals around the most divine Mutton Dhansak, to-die-for pork vindaloo sliders, that inimitable akuri, and of course, that Breakfast Bruschetta. We’re almost missing the cute little cafe already. Why do all good things come to an end?

But, the hint of light is that they’re open until March 15, so you’ve got about two weeks to go have your fill of all things Parsi, that one last time. Our recommendation would be the Dhansak, Salmon & Goat Cheese omelette, cutlets, chicken roulade, Kheema Pav, and Sali Murghi with Pav. Actually, scratch that. Go eat everything you possibly can! We won’t get this food for a long time to come. And that’s only because we’re hoping that Chef Xerxes {and his lovely family} will be back someday.

Thank you, Red Fork for the happy memories and happier tummies. Until we meet again, goodbye and good luck.
