Red Fork needs to be on your list for its decadent breakfasts, their take on offal, and their limited but lovely menu of Parsi dishes.
Breakfasts To Die For, Parsi Specials and Decadent Sweet Treats at Red Fork
Shortcut
Breakfast of champions
Whether it is their Mushrooms on Brioche or their Big Breakfast {choice of fried, scrambled, or poached eggs, chicken franks or bacon, served with baked beans, hash cake and in-house baked bread}, breaking bread at Red Fork is no less than an elaborate affair. We are also partial to their Kheema Par Eeda {eggs cooked on a bed of spicy mince, Parsi style} served with chunks of bread.
Meat the stars
From the mains, look no further than the hearty Mutton Dhansak served with brown rice and Kachumbar, Pork Vindaloo sliders {technically a starter but good enough for mains}, and their Bondi Chicken Burger {chicken breast marinated in Habanero, melted cheese, stuffed between buns and served with a side of a piquant green apple tzatziki salad}. And we have already raved about their spare parts dish Masoor Ma Jeeb, served with pav here.
On a sweet note
Do not leave Red Fork before tucking into their Ricotta Hotcakes with Maple Syrup and Honey Butter, or their Peanut Butter French Toast with homemade Berry Compote and Praline iIce Cream {although both are breakfast dishes}.
Festive plates
Till the year end, Red Fork is offering up specials such as Pork Terrine with Orange Preserve and Sourdough, Baked Brie served with forest berries, Vanilla Curd Duck Leg, Bell Pepper Wellington, Chicken Ballotine, and Baked Goat’s Cheese drizzled with Truffle Honey and served with fruit bread.
So, We’re thinking…
One of our favourite spots for weekend breakfast, we champion Red Fork’s short eats as much as their Parsi cuisine.
