I recently visited Red Rhino for the Oktoberfest and of course, for the brewery or craft beers. This fest is on till Saturday, October 27, 2018, and the restaurant stays open from 12 noon to 11:30 pm.
The brewery hub in Whitefield is huge, spacious, and energetic. From the outside, it looks small, but once you go inside you will find a two-storied seating. They also have a private space for parties and corporate events. And the live music makes this place even more amazing.
They have six types of beer on tap. While two are seasonal, the rest of them are running. All these beers are unique and different in taste.
1. Bangalore daze - West Coast IPA
2. Soul surfer - German Hefeweizen
3. GPB - American Lager
4. Black pearl - Stout
5. Orange vanilla lager - Seasonal
6. Oktoberfest - Marzen
Starters:
1. Oktoberfest Mixed Grill Platter - the veg and non-veg platter consisted of a variety of dishes, and the quantity was good too
2. Mini cheese and herb cigars - mini veg rolls stuffed with the veggies
3. Poppers - stuffed with cheese and corn, this dish was yum
4. Water Chestnut Veg Har Gao - veg steam dumplings served with two types of chutneys
Main course:
1. RR Veggie Delight pizza - thin crust pizza (slightly need to improve the toppings)
2. Risotto - this dish was well-cooked and tasted great too
3. Dal makhani and jeera rice - some amazing Indian food after beer made for a great meal
For dessert, I had their Brownie Mania. The brownie was toothsome.
The service was prompt, the staff was well-mannered and hospitable. The rates were also quite reasonable.
