Explore the neighbourhood of Richmond Town with a heritage walk and art show hosted by the kids of this area. Initiated by India Foundation For The Arts that supports arts and culture in the country, the event will be conducted by children who will take you through their area in their own languages. Expect to walk through Koshy’s Bakery and try some of their specialties like cream bun and egg puff. Even crawl through the noisy Johnson Market which is one of the most iconic markets in the city. So whether you’re new to the city or just want to get to know Richmond Town, walk the talk and learn something new about Namma Bengaluru. The kids have also made art that reflects their love for Richmond Town, you can enjoy these at the Richmond Town park auditorium. Women and children are required to cover their heads for the mosque visit. The heritage walk and art show are happening at two different times. While the art show is on throughout at the auditorium in Richmond Town Park, the walks are happening between April 5 and 7 from 5 PM onwards.
