What Makes It Awesome

A well-known cafe and patisserie from Ooty, The Culinarium in Hatworks Boulevard on Cunningham Road is perfect for dessert, a quick bite of quiche, pasta or a chicken and mushroom hotpot. But our last visit here, there's was something new for us to indulge in...vegan ice cream.

In flavours such as vanilla, strawberry and berry, we loved how close to dairy ice cream this tasted. Our favourite of the lot is the Gingiberi options that's tangy and not too sweet. A close second was the Berry Swirl which is made from raspberry, blue berry and cranberry. Yum! They also do regular ice cream of which our toppers are the Salted Caramel and the fragrant lavender.

Buy them in scoops or better yet, in tubs! After all ice cream is best eaten in binge format!

What Could Be Better

The space us cute but can get a bit cramped if full. But they do take away really well, even if your dish is a large and otherwise messy.

How Much Did It Cost

It's INR 130 per scoop, and INR 500 upwards for the tubs.
