Struggle with draping a saree? Well, there’s a workshop for that, where you will learn to drape it from the expert who can do it not just the standard way, but in over a 107 ways more! Yeah you read that right, someone is actually tapping into the potential that the classic, versatile, and iconic piece of cloth that the saree actually is. Conducted (or demonstrated) by Rta Kapur Chisti, textile expert and editor of the Saris of India book series, you’re in good hands because apart from draping it in various styles, she’s also known to drape them into palazzos and skirts among other things. The three hour workshop will take you through standard as well as some of the more unique ways to drape your saree while you laugh at some of her more amusing saree anecdotes, tips and tricks on January 18 and 19 at Jaypore.

Located in Indiranagar, Jaypore showcases handicrafts, home decor, apparel, and lifestyle products from across the country by Indian artisans and craftspeople. The also lend out their space for events and workshops related to the same.
Price Includes
INR 2,360 (inclusive of tax) includes entry to the workshop on one day, and some green tea during the break. You can either opt to go for the workshop from 5pm-8pm on Saturday or 11:30 am - 2:30 pm on Sunday.
