Ever since the organic tsunami washed over us, we've seen everything from spices, rice and pulses that we used to buy from the grocer have a nice little organic cousin sitting next to it on the shelves -- the only difference being, these have a much higher price tag. Fortunately, you can get all of these and more (including bath and body products, and baby food) at Sasyavedha Naturals for steal-deal prices.

Walk into the store and you will find shelves stacked with everything from organic fruits and vegetables (the capsicums are so fresh!), cold pressed coconut oil, dried packaged foods like cereals and teas, as well as organic alternatives to essentials like Natu Sakkru (Jaggery Sugar) and Pink Salt. On our last visit there, we couldn't resist picking up a groundnut chutney pudi (INR 40 for 100 grams), some pickles and appalams. It reminded us too much of grandma's home. And just when we thought we had spent enough, we noticed they had a collection of handmade soaps made of natural ingredients like turmeric, sandalwood, goat milk, honey and even paneer (apparently, it works great on sensitive skin!). Priced at INR 70 and above, they are friendly with all skin types, and smell so good too!
