Due to current political scenario, and protests against the Citizenship Act across India, it was announced today by Bengaluru Police Commissioner Bhaskar Rao, that Section 144 will be imposed across a few places in Karnataka, and definitely in Bangalore. The order will be effective 6am, Thursday, December 19 to  midnight December 21, a total of three days. Schools, colleges, offices etc will be open, though we recommending checking specific ones. But the police has said things will carry on as usual. Section 144 means that there is a restriction on unauthorised gatherings of four, and more. Plus, holding of public meetings, and carrying of firearms is prohibited. This was done to curb unauthorised protests says the Police Commissioner.

So stay safe, and hope that those we look to as leaders are able to make a solid decision with the citizens and humanity as priority.
