A lot of people in the 50 plus age category are going to be there, which is why it's a great idea to go with your parents or grandparents for a rather different kind of Saturday night. In fact, take them out and maybe even surprise them! While you're there, do check out Purobi Kagti's food. Her recipes have been handed down from generations that include traditional Assamese food and even some Continental stuff. Check out her chicken and pork pickles and Assamese-Bengali style pulao. Also check out Dechen's organic soaps {they look like they could be eaten} and Martha's Preserves in flavours such as pineapple chilli, fig and raisin, pomegranate and orange, and strawberry rose. The Bag Lab's very unique wooden bags are another thing to watch out for.
Why Should I Go For It?
It's under the stars, guys. Isn't that enough? There'll be music for the karaoke lovers and bathroom singers, some flavourful food and shopping for those who love thrifty, unconventional finds at flea markets. Expect to see a lot of cool jewellery including earrings, pendants and bracelets in stones, beads and silver! The theme is retro so music from yesteryears is going to be big. It's going to be a starlit evening full of fun.
