This grand basilica, Santa Cruz Cathedral Basilica, is an architectural marvel that was built in the 1500s (yes, it's really old!). This one is actually one of the most beautiful churches that there is in India. The structure is mesmerising and the Gothic architecture is straight out of postcards from Europe. It was built by the Portuguese who had landed in Kerala's Fort Kochi years ago. It's one of the eight grand churches in Fort Kochi area but the best one in not only terms of design but size as well.

Anything Else?
Do remember to take your shoes off when while entering the sanctum. The peace and calmness inside are sure to enchant you. The shrine inside is so beautiful and the wooden beams on the ceiling make you wonder how the building must have got constructed in those times.
