After wowing Delhi folks with stunning street art on everything from giant shipping containers to DDA complexes earlier this year, urban arts festival St+Art India will make Bangalore home for a month in October. Enough reason to rejoice!

The St+art India Foundation is a non profit organisation that does art projects in public spaces. Their aim is to make art accessible to the public instead of it just being stuck in art galleries. After a successful debut festival in Delhi and Mumbai in 2014 and then again in Delhi in January this year, namma Bengaluru is up next, followed by Hyderabad. The festival is being hosted by Asian Paints, the Srishti School Of Art, Design And Technology and Art In Transit, an art project by the students of Srishti in collaboration with BMRC {Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation} to enhance public spaces.

Expect street artistes from all over the world and from India {including local Bangalore ones} to paint the town red with their lovely art works. Plus, guided tours, workshops and live music are part of the festival. This is the best way to discover your city again we think.
