Everything is impeccable, from the pillars and doors sourced from old Chettinad villas to the tastefully done rooms to the chic floor tiles, the feel of the place is beautiful! Mantra has everything a pricey pondicherry hotel can offer + a glorious pool (that guests from other hotels pay to book per hour) + parking, all at an affordable price. We paid 4000 for a double room and 2000 for a single room per night inclusive of breakfast. What's amazing is their attention to detail. The breakfast is light and fresh. The staff is extremely helpful, they didn't complain once even when we woke them up in the middle of the night to park our car inside the premises. If you are looking for some peace and quiet, being surrounded by beauty and nature, this is it! And it's just 5 mins away from the French quarters. It just can't get better :)
