So 2020 feels slightly like a dystopia come true with all our favourite places shut, general overuse of the word pandemic, connecting and socialising purely virtually, and of course, a mask on everyone’s face. It’s not all bad news though, making the best of a bad situation, or jugaad (or innovation, as it’s formally known) is what we’re best at, and normalising it to the point of making people’s lives better is what most local businesses are doing.
By The Fit, a Delhi-based brand that’s primarily known for clothing is also making masks to stay safe (and stylish) and flaunt it too. Their range of cotton and cotton-blend masks will have you wanting more than one. Express yourself with their printed and floral masks, or even do some light matching with the checked, or polka dotted masks. For those not as quite expressive, there’s always the solid coloured ones, including basics (black, white, grey) and pastels, all with lightly contrasting piping details. The piping adds an extra layer of comfort if you’re wearing them over long periods of time.
