Although from an electronics and business background, Rupak TK had always wanted to venture into the food business, combining his love for food and his health-conscious nature. He came up with the idea for Sticksnax after coming across the concept of food-on-a-stick during one of his trips abroad. Barely a year old, the restaurant has an entire menu of snacks and finger food {with intercontinental varieties as well} served on sticks, available at really reasonable pricing. What’s more, they are ideal for all age groups, and have enough options for fitness freaks as well {think grilled goodies on sticks}.

We started with the Potato Tornado, fried potato slices twirled around a stick. We loved the unique form and the crusty texture of the potato slices, and were further intrigued by its spicy taste {a result of the secret ingredients they use, apparently}. The classic French Fries get a nice, tangy twist at Sticksnax with their Lemon Herb version. Next, we tried the juicy and piquant Chicken Medallions which are small patties of minced chicken served on a stick. The delicious Peri Peri Prawns bowled us over with the subtle use of spices which makes sure that the dish is mild on your palate and lets the juicy prawns take centre stage. Wash it down with a Mint Melon drink {sugarless watermelon juice with a hint of mint} and we think you could call it a meal.

While the restaurant has minimal seating, it is nevertheless spacious and welcoming with its simple white and yellow décor.

Easy on the pocket and high on taste, Sticksnax has us looking forward to another round of stick-snacking.
