Set on the Hennur Bagalur Road, Straight Up is a rooftop pub with plenty of grub, booze and good vibes. With exposed brick walls, wooden tables, simple garden chairs {some of the seating was just upturned logs}, and vertical gardens, you’re in for a super chill and laid-back time. Let both the conversation and booze flow freely, as they’ve got some awesome deals on alcohol. Double up on the fun with 1+1 deals on all their drinks {except beer} and sip on anything from Long Island Ice Teas to Mojitos from 12pm all the way until 7pm. Yep! And this deal is on all through the week, so you know where to take your crew to for a boozy weekend.

The menu keeps things interesting with quite the diverse mix of pub grub. From Goan Prawn Curry to Kadala Curry with Kerala parotas, there are a few shoutouts to desi food here. But if you want to keep it global, they’ve got burgers, steaks, wraps and fried rice on the list too. The starter menu also boasts of some deliciousness in the form of Golden Fried Baby Corn, which was baby corn in a deep-fried crispy golden batter that are the perfect match for cold beer. The Jalapeno Cheese Stuffed Mushrooms were also a nice quick bite, oozing melted cheese once bit into.

Dining is offered at two levels and if you can get seating at the top, there’s nothing like it. In fact, we think the best seat in the house is the booth that is held up by a huge metallic octopus right in the centre {here’s where you whip out the phone and Instagram away}. There’s also a swish bar in the middle, that you can head toward to exploit their crazy alcohol deals.
