What Is It?

Putting the spotlight on holistic lifestyle and fitness, the Sun Festival has a Sunday morning packed with everything from yoga and Zumba to cycling and healthy eating. Kicking off in Bangalore before heading to Mumbai, Pune, Delhi and Dubai, the festival's hoping to have an epic finale at Goa. Roping in city-based yoga studios, running and cycling communities, and a dance school, among others, this one promises to make fitness fun. And that's always a plus point, no?

Who Is It For?

Whether you're a fitness freak, yoga practitioner, dance lover or even someone hoping to switch to a holistic lifestyle, the Sun Festival has a little of everything. With basic workshops or sessions on salsa, cycling and yoga, this also works great for beginners.

Why Should I Go For It?

Starting off with a session of running and cycling led by Aakash Nambiar {barefoot marathoner and Pinkathon ambassador}, the event also includes a yoga session by Pradeep Gowda {founder of a1000yoga} as well as a round of yoga to live music with Neetu Singh and Manish Pole from Total Yoga. Once you're done with all the stretching, Shwetambari Shetty {co-founder of Tribe Fitness Club} will get you moving with some sensual Zumba moves. Adding some spins and shimmies into the mix will be Lourd Vijay {from LVDS} with his salsa session. While there's a healthy breakfast as a fitting end to the fest, look out for stalls offering organic food and wellness products to add to your daily routine.
