One of Bangalore’s first food trucks, S.W.A.T has moved away from a mobile kitchen to a permanent one in Koramangala. Serving all their classics plus newbies such as the Mac & Cheese Burger, this one’s for all you food truck fanatics.

Given how crowded Koramangala can get, you might wonder where S.W.A.T has found a permanent parking spot. Well, truth be told, it’s their kitchen that’s found a permanent parking spot. Located opposite Empire, in a small lane beside Hello Magai Paan and ON4 Gastropub, it’s the outdoor seating of S.W.A.T that welcomes your first. A few picnic tables and a long high table by the wall make up the seating space. The hole-in-the-wall kitchen is up to the flight of stairs, but you don’t need to climb that to place your order — there’s someone to take your order.

For the uninitiated, the menu might look a bit confusing. But fans of the food truck will tell you to close your eyes and order their Peri Peri Fries, Bacon Cheese Fries, BBQ Wings and Classic Hot Dog with caramelised onions. But leaving without trying their meaty, saucy burgers is a big no-no. You could sink into your teeth into anything from the Pulled Pork Burger with Apple Slaw or the All American Beef Burger. Do try their newbie, the Mac & Cheese Burger which comes with a patty made of macaroni and cheese.
