We thought we had seen it all in the world of polymer clay earrings -- the super cute, the flirty, the trendy, the oh-so-chic, but we were so wrong and how! All it took for this realisation was a chance sighting of the Tales Of Handmade. It felt like our world was lacking a rainbow and the pot of gold at the end of it and it was like we struck both at once! Seriously though, you must drop all you're doing and take a look, basically see to believe why we're so in love.
Self-taught artist, Chelsea from Trichy, is a sucker for everything handmade, hence the name of the brand. But together with it being handmade, she shares that a little or a whole lot of colour never really hurt the world. So when she made her own polymer clay earrings she decided to go to town. Rainbow town in particular. These are her signature designs -- so picture spherical studs with rainbow shaped danglers. The classic rainbow coloured with polka dot studs remain her bestseller but slight variations in the same design and the play in colour gradients -- bright, pastels, neons and monochromes are big hits too. Textures are a recent addition to her whimsical earring collection.
Aside from earrings, Tales of Handmade also dabbles in concrete coasters, trinket dishes and another one of our favourites from their collection, lapel pins! Made with air clay and a resin glaze, these are entirely customisable (as is everything here). We spotted adorable tiny rainbows (duh), camera, crystal ball, evil eye and so many other designs. Can't wait to dot these on our jackets, shirts, hats -- everywhere.
