One of the first places to start the Thanksgiving tradition in Bangalore, The Only Place offers Roast Turkey, Stuffing, Roast Gravy, Creamed Potatoes, Boiled Veggies, Candied Yams, Sweet Corn and Cranberry Sauce in a buffet style. Of course, homemade Pumpkin Pie is in order, especially since it’s always been their speciality!

This refreshing cafe at 1MG Mall is having specials starting Thanksgiving night until November 26, in case you can’t make it on Thursday. Kick things off with Spiced Roast Pumpkin Soup, Roast Turkey Roulade, Pecan Pie and more. To add to the festivities, there will also be a karaoke session on November 23, starting at 8.30pm.

Ditching the turkey in favour of a fine range of desserts, Sly Granny is making Thanksgiving sweet! Over at this star hotel, Thanksgiving goes Italian or Continental. At Feast, there will be a special counter that will have all traditional dishes of the holiday. Think butterball turkey with cranberry sauce, slow-roasted lamb leg and pumpkin pie. At Bene, the Italian restaurant, there is a special set menu, that naturally includes a turkey carving station.

Portland Steakhouse & Cafe
If it’s Portland, it’s got to be very American, eh? And if you know the folks behind Portland Steakhouse, you know it’ll be an authentic feast. Starting on Thanksgiving Thursday, until Sunday, you can expect whole roast turkey, sweet potato, herb walnut stuffing, orange cranberry sauce, pan gravy, butternut squash soup and pumpkin pie to finish off with. You can order all of this to take home and have your own celebration too. But make sure to call at least 48 hours in advance.

The buffet here will go all American on you but there’s also going to be an array of multi-cuisine dishes too. Start with the seafood bar and olive oil tasting bar before loading up on roasted pumpkin soup or seafood bisque. If turkey isn’t your thing, hit up the Western Hot Food Counter, an Oriental Station, Live Peking Duck and Nasi Goering stations along with a live Steak and Caviar Trolley. But it’s Thanksgiving so make sure you eat some roast turkey with giblet gravy, cranberry jelly, bread chestnut stuffing, mashed potato, oven roasted baby carrots, Brussels sprouts, honey-glazed leg of ham with apple sauce and candied sweet potatoes. Follow it up with Baked Alaska, Pumpkin Pie and Pecan Pie.
