The Baker's Holt in JP Nagar will leave you wanting seconds of their desserts and savoury options. Located in 1st Phase, the cute bakery & cafe is by the same folks behind the now-shut Noodle Panda in Koramangala, which explains why there's a pan-Asian section on the menu. But desserts and cafe fare are what's heavy on the menu, with a special focus on the desserts and baked goodies. We chomped down on the Chicken & Pesto Tart in no time while we waited for the Thai Spiced Chicken Pizza to arrive. The pizza is a sourdough one, and we quite liked the dough and the flavours. Since we love our Pan-Asian fare, we also had Thai Basil Chicken.
While we don't have much of a sweet tooth, we recommend that you try out everything from the pies to the doughnuts. There's a Chewy Choco Chip cookie we want to try the next time we head here. Cupcakes and tea cakes are the popular choice. We tried a slice of the Carrot Cake with cream cheese frosting. Just the right amount of sweetness. You can also order full cakes and loaves here as takeaways.
