Touted to be the largest running series in the world, The Colour Run {or also known as The Happiest 5K Run On The Planet} has travelled to 40+ countries, over 400 cities, and has seen the participation of over six million runners worldwide. This unique race encourages everyone to celebrate health, happiness and individuality. And now it’s finally coming to India this year {starting this month, in fact} and we cannot wait to participate. Now you see why we can’t keep calm, right?
In 2018, the run starts in India and will happen across 10 cities. In this race, you don’t run to win, but all for the fun of it. The event will see an array of fun activities for the participants and you end it with a bang {more on that after}. The Color Runners, as they’re known, will begin the race with the classic powder Color Zones. We’re told that along the course, participants can paint their desires on the Dream Wall, get photos with giant unicorns, plus there will be bursts of colour throws and more.

Since this is the first time such a unique experience is coming to India, each Color Runner will receive a limited-edition ‘Dream Tour’ merchandise kit comprising an event bib, a tee, headband, unicorn finishers medal, colour packets and a happy tattoo. The event will finally come to an end with the happiest party which will have plenty of music, dance and more colour.
Another unique element of this run is that there’s no age limit – so anyone can participate. For kids below the age of 10, tickets are priced at INR 590, a single ticket is priced at INR 885 and tickets for a group of four will cost you INR 2,832.
