Catch This Thought-Provoking Play About Revenge And Retribution At Ranga Shankara

Last Page Collective is back with another captivating play. This time, they’re collaborating with Lights Off Productions, a theatre group from Bangalore. The play is set in Iran, back when around 700 people throughout the year were publicly hanged for their crimes. Follow the story of Riyaz, who, in a fit of rage during a football match, shoots a boy called Ayidh. Just when he is about to be presented for his public lynching, Ayidh’s mother is asked if she would forgive Riyaz.  What follows next, will make you think about what it means to neutralise the essence of revenge, rage and retribution. 

Ranga Shankara is one of the most popular performing spaces in Bangalore.
