The Little Free Library was a concept that started in 2010 in the United States of America and has now made its way to Namma Bengaluru. Bhavna Jain started this little library in 2014 after reading about it online. She loved the concept so much that she decided to create her own little free library in her restaurant Om Pure Veg in Koramangala. The aim is to foster an environment for like-minded individuals who love to read. The concept is pretty simple — you leave a book and you take a book. The Little Free Library aims to promote literacy and the love of reading by exchanging of books while also creating a sense of community.

The Little Free Library also organises regular book drives to add to its collection of books. They invite all book lovers to come by to take a book as well as share a book. So next time, you happen to be over at Om Pure Veg to eat their fantastic unlimited thali, make sure you check out this little library.
