What Makes It Awesome

We found The Mudslingers while going through a rabbit hole of ceramic brands on Instagram. Based out of Noida and run by a one-woman team of Megha Rawat, The Mudslingers is the brand you need when you are looking for functional ceramics to buy. But what you will love most about her functional ceramics is that they are minimal in design and glazed in pops of solid colours. You'll find these on products such as a set of four shot glasses (they come in blue, green, yellow, and red) and on takeaway coffee cups. Even the fruit cups, so-called for fruit design for the handle -- think oranges and watermelon -- get this, along with mustard yellow cereal bowls that work as a bowl for anything.

While we loved the ramen bowl, a departure from the colour pop series but more along the lines of Megha's collection of ceramics with designs on them (see the featured image above), our current obsession is with her minimalist tableware like the fluted bowls and tumblers that are earthy and come with a pop of colour. They also have some really cool sound amplifiers that add an interesting aesthetic to your hallway. While her catalogue is ever-changing, with new pieces getting added and old ones discontinued barring for some signature pieces, you'll find something you fancy (her mugs for instance). Since each of these is handmade and attention to detail is paramount, you'll get a piece that truly is work of art. Check out her Rainbow Mug and you'll know what we are talking about.
