What Is It?
Never thought a 5K run could be fun? Sign up for The Music Run, organised by Fastrack and adidas, and you'll probably change your mind. Coming to the ooru after touring 25 cities across the globe, this one's a run, music festival and party, all rolled into one. Run on with a playlist of great music {selected by the participants} in the backdrop, before you go on and shake a leg or two at the after-run music festival. With upbeat tracks throughout the evening, we aren't surprised this one's touted to be 'the world's loudest 5K'. But that's not all. Another major highlight of the event would be the launch of the all-new adidas Ultra Boost Uncaged running shoes!
Who Is It For?
With the event bringing together DJs, bands and dancers to promise you a great time, all you fitness, dance and music enthusiasts can go on and give those pubs a break this Saturday evening. Not really into running? Well, this one might convert you with its fun format, we think.
Why Should I Go For It?
To get you going, there's the Soundtrack, a 5K course lined with over 120 speakers playing songs {voted to the final playlist by participants} across five different themed zones — rock, pop, old school, hip hop and dance. We're expecting hits by Justin Bieber and even old-school tracks by Backstreet Boys or Spice Girls! Once you've completed the run, there's an after-run music festival featuring artistes like DJ Gyro and Mumbai-based band Lost Stories to keep the party going, complete with laser lights, LED screens and fireworks.
